Allegria

This is a piece I wrote to celebrate the wedding of a very good friend. It was meant to be quite ceremonial, yet joyful at the same time. You will find a lot instruments I often enjoy playing: accoustic and electric guitars, mandolin, flute, glockenspiel, a small zither, an irish bodhran, as well as a few other things.

Your comments:

Ceremonial and joyful, that's exactly what I feel. Well done !
I enjoyed the lightness and sense of movement in the piece. Congratulations!
Thank you Christophe and Marisa. I am glad you enjoyed the piece. They will be more coming at some point - working on it!
The bombast of the intro is so sweetly offset by the flute and winds and chimes, and that is the best use of a glockenspiel that I have heard in a very long time. Overall, the piece evoked memories of Clannad's work in the 80s, which is what drew me into my own Celtic phase. What a great present for your friends; I enjoyed it thoroughly.
