To celebrate Thursday August 25th (always a good day to celebrate), I thought I would post some photos of my studio throughout time along with some enlightening commentaries.
Let's start with the year 1996, in the remote countryside of France:

Yes, that is a Casio keyboard and a blue wallpaper. This is where I recorded "Old Wounds", and a couple of other things that I didn't put on this site.
Let's move on to THE YEAR TWO THOUSAND, when I was living London, UK (which, let's face it, sounds really cool). As you can see I had the same two guitars than on the picture above, and you can actually have fun spotting them on all the subsequent photos.

Still in London, but a couple of years later, with a few additions:

And we are now in 2005, again in London, with some elegant red curtains. This is where I recorded the vast majority of the album "Sense":

Finally, we move to Toronto, where I currently reside. Here is what my recording space looked like litterally two minutes ago. Admittedly it doesn't look as fancy as the one above, but with the way technology advances I can do a lot more with a lot less, and as my studio happens to also be my living room I am quite happy with the minimal setup!

Well, that's it so far. Nothing mind boggling, but hopefully it made for an interesting read!
What do you think?
